I Woke Up at the Crack of Dawn...

Seize the What?

I know I seem to be talking about tattoos a lot lately, butt for some reason they are a big part of my life right now. I have seen more tatts in the past few months than in my whole life. I realized a couple of days ago that a lot of the ladies in our water aerobics classes are the at the Dawn of Aquarius age. Children of the sixties. I can be kind of slow.

My friend caught this shot while in Hawaii with her hubby last week. Brave isn't she? She is my hero. A paparazzo couldn't have done any better.

Now, I make typos up there with the best of them. I usually catch them before posting them for all the world to see...when I was writing the Michael Jackson post late, late last night...I spelled Obsession wrong in the post title...I woke up this morning and in horror, I saw it and fixed it immediately. It was a typo. I really do know how to spell obsession. Am I paranoid or what?

Luckily, I didn't tattoo it on my love handles...forever.

Butt, this guy...I think if he is going to be so philosophical and deep as a crevice, he should know how to spell a simple four letter Latin word, don't you? At the very least, the tattoo artist, I use the "artist" term with some mild doubt, might want to keep a Latin dictionary nearby in case a brainy-ac walks in and wants Latin written crookedly, downhill across his fanny.

Carpe means "pick, pluck, pluck off, gather" I'm glad he isn't picking or plucking...or gathering for that matter.

I don't know what Deim means.

Diem of course means Day.

The moral of this story?

I have no idea.

I stayed up too late.

Go eat your Wheaties and try to forget you saw this.

  1. Tee hee... I loved it! I'm always on the lookout for amusing typos. This one is a permanent doozy. What a crack up!
