Chocolate = YUM

 Happy Valentine's Day!

However you have it...chocolate is good.

I don't get people who don't like chocolate.

Like...Oprah. What the heck woman?

Madley didn't care for chocolate until he met me.
Now he can't stop. He's as obsessed as I am.
We've been to two Chocolate Fests in the past month.
We have enough samples to last us...a week.

I have become somewhat of a chocolate snob lately. Long gone are my days of candy bars from the drug store. I am on to fine chocolates. I no longer care for milk chocolate. I have discovered the dark side.

Darth Chocolate has persuaded me to the dark side with the percentages and the multitude of flavors.

 Etc. Etc.

Here are a couple of recipes I got from the
Chocolate Fest at Whole Foods

Chocolate Chipotle Beef
Method
2 Tbls Brown Sugar
2 Tbls Cocoa Powder
2 Tbls Ground, Dried Chipotle Powder
1 Tbls Ground Cumin
1 Tbls Salt

Apply rub to favorite cut of beef, chicken or pork. Let stand for 2 hours and sear on the grill to perfection.
Phenomenal!

Berry Salsa
Method
1 Cup Cucumber, seeded and diced
1 Cup Seasonal Berries
1/4 Cup Red Onion, Peeled and Diced
2 Tbls Jalepeno, seeded and diced
2 Tbls Mint Leaves, finely chopped

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
(really good with the beef above)

Look at these recipes I've found on Tasty Kitchen!
Just search "chocolate" on the website and you will never be able to leave.
These are just a few of the beautiful, lovely and scrumptious looking recipes that caught my eye...

I made these for a Dessert Auction and they brought in $40!

  7. You have to question those who don't like chocolate. I can't go over to the dark side, but unlike the recent report, I can tell the difference between good quality chocolate and the rest.
